Screen Young Hearts

The young man is wearing a face mask and has electrodes attached to his chest, with wires connected to monitoring devices, in a medical setting with a white tent in the background.

Many cardiac conditions that can lead to SCA in youth go undetected because they show no symptoms. That’s why Aidan’s Heart Foundation provides free youth heart screenings, which include an electrocardiogram (EKG) to detect abnormalities that may not be found during a routine physical.

At our screening events, trained medical professionals evaluate participants, and if any concerns are identified, families are given referrals for further testing and medical care. These screenings have already helped identify at-risk youth, allowing for early intervention and potentially life-saving treatments.

By making heart screenings more accessible, we empower families with crucial health information and prevent tragic, undiagnosed cases of SCA.
