PECO, formerly the Philadelphia Electric Company, has been displaying messages atop its 23rd and Market Street headquarters in Philadelphia since July 4, 1976. Since that time, the company has saluted local community and nonprofit organizations with more than 17,500 messages. The new, energy efficient system, unveiled on July 4, 2009, contains more than 2 million energy-efficient LED lights with color capability.
Aidan’s Heart Foundation submitted a request for a Crown Lights message and was approved.
On June 14th and 15th, 2018, PECO displayed our 5K for Aidan J. event message in bright red lights atop their headquarters in Philadelphia, PA.
Annually, AHF holds a 5K for Aidan J Run/Walk in Kerr Park, located in Downingtown, PA. Our 8th annual event was held on June 16th, 2018.
